**SEE THE IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR THIS SEASON BELOW**Patries Raspberries is a 1-acre u-pick/pre-pick red raspberry enterprise located southeast of Bowdon in central North Dakota – just one mile south of the intersection of Highways 200 and 52.
This farm diversification project run by Loren and Patti Patrie and their three children began in 1990 with 1 ½ acres of u-pick summer fruiting Boyne berries. In 1996 the Patrie’s expanded their raspberry patch to include ½ acre more of summer bearing plants and 5 acres of the fall producing Autumn Bliss. In 2008, a new 1 acre patch of Autumn Bliss berries was planted and previous planted acres will be removed in 2009.
The Patrie’s raspberry business now includes a quaint gift shop called, "The Berry Patch" located between the Patrie home and the berry field – all located within the farm shelter belt. The gift shop, once serving as a summer kitchen, is decorated with an array of bird houses, North Dakota crafts, garden decor and a great assortment of raspberry gift items.
Patti Patrie makes and markets her own cooked and freezer jams which have been selling in gift shops and grocery markets statewide since 1998. Additional products added through the years include raspberry syrup, scone mix and black raspberry, rhubarb-raspberry and Splenda sweetened spreads. Other raspberry products include honey, dipping sauce, coffee and tea. Patries are proud to be a member of Pride of Dakota
